FrontPage 2000: Introduction Course Outline Course Specifications:
Operating system – Windows Course Description: Come and enjoy learning how to create documents with an HTML format, connected by hypertext, for use on the World Wide Web or on a corporate intranet. Students will learn how to create and edit webs and web pages, apply paragraph and character formatting to web pages, create links between and within pages, create links to the World Wide Web, create a Navigation bar, insert and create links from images, insert and format tables, and import, rename, delete, and publish a web. Create a new FrontPage web. Create links between and within web pages. Apply formatting to characters and paragraphs and apply themes. Insert, size, align, and link images. Create, modify, and enhance a table. Perform basic web page management techniques.Prerequisites: You will be prepared to get the most out of this class if you have taken the following course: HTML/Web Page Design Beginning and Intermediate, or have equivalent knowledge / experience. Operating system – Windows Course Description: Come and enjoy learning advanced FrontPage 2000 features to create web pages and manage web sites for the World Wide Web or their corporate intranet. Students will learn how to design, build, and manage web pages and web sites; create frame-based web pages; use FrontPage to add media and functionality to web pages; create a form to collect visitor information; use advanced features (such as reports, tasks, and ActiveX components); and format web pages with animation and style sheets. Apply web site design considerations when creating a web site with a wizard. Students will also be able to add and modify structural elements in an existing web. Apply web page design concepts to create and modify web pages by using frames. Build a web-based form to collect and store user data. Modify pictures as well as add sound and web components (such as rotating banner ads, marquee text, and ActiveX controls) to their web pages. Use reports and tasks to manage and collaborate on web site creation. Animate text and format text and web pages with Dynamic HTML and style sheets.Prerequisites: You will be prepared to get the most out of this class if you have taken the following course: FrontPage 2000 Introduction, or have equivalent knowledge / experience.
