COURSE LEVEL - Beginning

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course shows beginning students how to create an Active Server Page and use the built-in objects to present a page that is generated dynamically. It takes a first look at the creation of dynamic Web sites with a focus on displaying and updating databases, forms, browser independent design, and maximizing the use of built-in objects to save programming time. By the end of the class the student will be able to control the client session, manipulate display and content, and retrieve or update information from a database.

COURSE LENGTH - 24 Hours

PREREQUISITE

Students are required to have some HTML experience. Knowledge of SQL or programming is helpful but not required.
